We head over to see Pearson who’s having a bit of a scrap with Sadie Adler. She’s keen to do more work – she says she can hunt, use a knife and a gun. So Arthur kindly offers to take her out on a supply run to Rhodes, but she’s a bit keen to shoot somebody!
While Mrs Adler is picking up the supplies from the General Store, we head to the Post Office to post a letter and check the mail.
She drives the wagon on the way back, which seems like an indication that we’ve been freed up to shoot (riding shotgun, hence the term). We have a good chat on the way, and do obviously catch a bit of excitement on the way back. Her confidence is strangely attractive and I think Arthur quite likes her by the time we return to camp.
